
JURAMIRZA KAYUMOV
On March 21, 1978 was born in Uychi district, Namangan region, Uzbekistan.
In 1995-1999 he studied at the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology of the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Economics in the specialty of “Technology of textile and light industry products” in bachelor and graduated with honours.
He began his labor activity in 1999 as a master in the” Namangan silk" silk producing factory, in 2000-2001 he worked at the Spinning-weaving factory in Uychi district as a mechanics, in 2001-2002 he worked as the head of the cotton cultivation farm in Uychi district.
In 2002-2004 he studied at the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Economics with a master's degree in the specialty “Technology of Spinning” and graduated with honours.
In 2004-2005 he worked as a head of the laboratory at the Department of Vocational Education of the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Economics. His interest in scientific research work was the motivation for him to study in doctoral study, and in 2005-2007 he studied at the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Economics in the specialty “Preliminary processing of Textile Raw Materials”. During his studies at doctoral study, he conducted research on natural fiber cleaning.
In 2007 he participated in the training course within the framework of the European Union Tempus project at the University of Minho, located in Braga, Portugal.
From January to June 2008, he worked as a Junior researcher at the Scientific Department of the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Economics and in 2008-2009 academic year he became the winner of the competition announced by the people's Republic of China and participated in the Master degree course in the specialty Textile Engineering and Textile Design at the Donghua University.
In 2009-2010, he worked head of the laboratory and part time assistant lecturer at the Department of Technology of Light Industry Products of Namangan Institute of Engineering and Economics.
In 2009, he won the competition announced by the Indian ITEC program and participated in the training course at the Southern Indian Textile Research Center in Koimbatore with an improved qualification.
In April-December 2011, he worked as the head of the “Academic Lyceum and Professional Colleges Department” of the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology and at the same time as an assistant lecturer. In the same year, he participated in the competition announced by the Erasmus Mundus Program, announced by the European Union, obtained the opportunity to study at the doctoral studies at the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy, and in 2012-2015 he received the PhD degree, conducting research on the elimination of problems in the initial processing of wool raw materials.
In 2015-2019, he worked as a senior lecturer, Associate Professor at the Namangan Institute of engineering and technology at the Department of Design and Technology of Light Industry Products.
In 2015 he participated in the plenary meeting of the European Union Tempus program in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, within the framework of the project TUCAHEA. Participated in the creation of a program planned to be carried out by the engineering department.
In 2018, he became the winner of the grant of “Istedod” foundation (“Talent” foundation) of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and participated in the advanced training course at the Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, located in Hangzhou, the people's Republic of China.
Since September 2019, he has been working as an associate professor at the Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. He is an author of 2 patents (National) and more than 50 scientific articles.

Juramirza Kayumov graduated from Namangan Institute of Engineering and Economics with a bachelor’s and master’s degree, Textile and light industry engineering major and Spinning technology, Ph.D. graduated in the field of Mechanics and advanced Engineering Sciences from University of Bologna. Mainly engaged in initial processing of wool raw materials, design of wool cleaning machines.
He got many national and international grants and scholarships and participated in internships in textile engineering in several foreign countries such as Portugal, India, Italy and China.
Mainly engaged in higher education and teaching work including Design of technological processes of textile industry, Technology of goods of light industry. The main scientific research work includes initial processing of cotton and wool raw materials, and published more than 50 journal and conference articles in English and Uzbek language, designed and obtained 2 national invention patents.
